Remote Assistance
CuxREMOTE is a solution for the easy setting up of multiplatform remote assistance centers or
help desks.
Client Server
A CuxREMOTE assistance system is built by installing
a Desk software module on a MsDos or Unix platform and a Site module on the remote
peripherals to assist.
Features
The system has been designed to provide the help desk of the whole set of functions
it needs to give assistance to remote sites: file transfer with stack-like directory,
remote login, remote shell, and the chance to perform remote software teaching and
bug fixing by direct interaction and screen redirection.
The Desk can do automatic detection of MsDos againist Unix Sites and gives back
specific functions to the Desk interface: when a Dos Site is connected an item
providing remote reboot and automatic reconnection is shown, quite useful when you
modify system configuration.
Desk to Site connection
Great care has been given to Desk to Site connection: the following are available:
Site to Desk dialing
Desk to Site dialing
Desk to Site dialing and Site calls back
Desk to Site dialing, autologin, remote Site launch, Site calls back
Users profiles and logging
CuxREMOTE is very fond on multiplatform and multiuser
software help desks, so the connection and user profiles will never be the same
for each remote user. Thus, the Desk includes different user profiles and recognition
passwords for single or user groups.
Every operation performed during assistance sessions is logged with huge detail
on both Desk and Site and obviously contains connection times and file transferred.
Programming language included
After customizing of your user group and dialing policy, you can also write code
to define complex jobs. CuxREMOTE include the whole
Cux programming language and links for Cux scripts
attachments directly on the Desk default menu interface.
