CuxTMT 2.5 Transaction Management ToolCuxTMT is a software system for the easy setting up of store & forward data collecting/distribution, messaging, EDI and remote programming among servers and clients on wide area networks. CuxTMT Server contains a user agent providing a simple user interface for line and users database monitoring. The user agent interface is real time updated and can run on multiple sessions at the same time, giving simultaneous multiple view of the network status. CuxTMT Server and Client are shipped for multiple communication media and operating systems. File transfer is optimized for high performance. A CuxTMT network directly provides solutions to communication services integrating different company entities: customers, agents, branches, providers. Cux is the core of line and protocol handling of both CuxTMT Client and Server, supporting Dynamica's proprietary protocol (CUX File Transfer Protocol) and public protocols as well. CuxTMT release 2.5 offers a set of features to face every need of wide area communication services: Easy set up CuxTMT Server now comes with a new easy set up and well described configuration files. Framework CuxTMT project is focused on user system integration. The pushing of files in users queues is extended to every format: from database to spreadsheet and simple ASCII files. Is easy to include in applications or batch files "TMT commands" to feed user queues for immediate or scheduled trasmission. Store & forward: Data and messages are pushed and popped to and from user "boxes" with a store and forward technique. Data are trasmitted or received on demand or, better, following time and date rules defined with the scheduler interface and stored in schedule databases. This approach ensures good performance even over low bandwidth connections and is coupled with a strong protocol answering for data transaction integrity: files are not delivered to their destination if corrupted. Electronic mail: CuxTmt Server equipment include a RFC822 Internet standard mail management and routing module. Mail from CuxTMT Server can be handled by mail spool directory e-mail packages. CuxTMT Client can be extended with the DynaMAIL package for e-mail reading and writing. Multi Platform Client: CuxTMT Client is available for Unix, Dos and Windows95/98/NT/2000 platform and includes file transfer protocol handling, transaction integrity features, logging and user interface commands. CuxTMT Client REMOTE include remote maintenance capability software for both Unix and Dos systems. Communication media: Different communication media can be connected to the same CuxTMT Server on different real or virtual line: modem over switched or leased lines, TA for ISDN network, X28/X25, TCP/IP. The basic CuxTMT Server is shipped for switched and leased lines and supports modem and ISDN. Add-ons as CuxTMT Server X.25 Interface or CuxTMT IP Interface extend the action of the server over internet and X25 connections. Transaction control: CuxTMT push data file to destination (Client or Server) only if all file components are correctly delivered. Security: The encryption of user autentification messages, the store and forward approach to data transfer and the absence of "login" like accesses ensure a good level of security. Every Server can detect also the presence of Client illegal copies. Detailed logging: CuxTMT Server and Client produces detailed logging of every single operation at different level of detail: by line, by user, daily, history. Simple network overview: With the CuxTMT Server User Agent the user and services definition process and the maintenance is straightforward. The server can also import user database from other sources. Services and user groups: Data transfer and pre/post processing can be submitted to services rules. Services are defined throught the User Agent and single user or groups can be enabled to receive data by service. User groups are useful also for distribution scheduling policies: a Server can be tuned to call a user group during a defined range of time or to accept user group calls during another time slice. CuxTMT Server Light Release: To match "light" communication company needs CuxTMT Server Light is available: it delivers the same features as CuxTMT Server but it's enabled to the handling of a maximum of two communication lines.
