Dynaterm project is under a strict evaluation of memory requirements and system resources, targeting a software able to run on charged system or on older personal computers with a small amount of memory or hard disk space. Competitors software evaluation brang us to a policy in which EVERY company pc must access to server's resources, in order to take advantge from the resources of company information systems. Thus, Dynaterm 3.0 Windows runs also on INTEL 486 and on wider configurations it leaves great resources space to other applications, without overloading the system.

Great attention is given to beginners connecting to the Server in order to perform jobs related to their professional commitments. In this direction we adopted a point o view of software terminal TRANSPARENCY, in which the software is a medium of the Server applications and never a further obstacle to the enjoinment of services. Dynaterm 3.0 features an easy and clean working window (a great appreciated feature on former MsDos releases). The working window hides both lines configuration options and setups the end users could modify without the admininistrator permission. Configurations and setups are called trought pop-up menus or yet hard written in TEXT configuration files.

NETWORK, SERIAL LINE AND REMOTE COMMUNICATIONS

Dynaterm 3.0 Windows delivers TELNET connections including all the features crytical communication applications require, as full modem support, ISDN Terminal Adaptor support and remote printing handling.

FILE TRANSFER AND AUTOMATION

Dynaterm Support powers Dynaterm 3.0 with automatic file transfer services and for remote execution of processes on the pcs connected to the server. With Dynaterm Support, the Server is able to send and receive files to/from remote pc, to execute processes on the remote oc for pre or post processing of data, and also to provide a multisession environment.

FULL SUPPORT OF TERMINAL PRINTERS

Dynaterm can address remote printers both using escape sequences for redirecting the output flow from Server applications and through Unix printer spooler, with LPD Server configuration. In the latter case, Dynaterm can be executed only to perform remote printing, getting printing outputs and then releasing the contents in Windows printers queues. Printers are handled in "raw" mode, without modifying in any way printing contents.
